This series consists of letters to the Ala. Governor from officials in other states relating to extraditions. Included are letters requesting that criminals arrested in Ala. be returned to other states for prosecution and letters informing the Governor that criminals wanted in Ala. have been arrested in other states but will be returned to Ala. for prosecution. This file includes information concerning William Birdwell; an escaped convicted murderer, and Thomas Dixon alias Thomas Davis convicted of passing counterfeit bank notes in Ga.
